Launched in 2016, the First C216 is the first hybrid shoe designed by SMO Paris.

At the intersection of timeless Derby elegance and the sporting spirit of 1970s sneakers, it reinterprets the codes of traditional footwear.

Crafted entirely from brushed calfskin, the First C216 combines a minimalist silhouette with a lightweight, deeply grooved outsole inspired by the world of running, and more specifically by the iconic Cortez, designed by Bill Bowerman. An unexpected encounter between two worlds, two cultures and two visions of movement.

Through this creation, Steeve Morel reimagines the traditional dress shoe, infusing it with a futuristic dimension that reflects the creative vision of SMO Paris: challenging conventions, merging styles and imagining new forms of elegance.

Neither entirely a dress shoe nor a conventional sneaker, the First C216 defines its own identity.
