At the heart of Paris, there is a small house where clothing becomes a language.

A house founded in 2016 where every stitch tells the story of a free man — one who refuses conventions and the obvious.

This house has a name: **SMO.**

More than a label, SMO is the signature of **Steeve Morel**, a creator who brings together tradition and modernity, discipline and audacity.

Every piece begins with an idea, a drawing, a shape, a material. Clothing, footwear, furniture or objects: Steeve Morel imagines, designs and develops each creation, then personally oversees its realization, working with selected workshops and artisans — or crafting certain pieces himself.

**Some pieces exist in only a handful of examples. Others are made as one-of-a-kind creations.**

From the very beginning, Steeve Morel’s work has received recognition: **Coup de Cœur at the Trophées de la Mode de Paris (2004)**, followed by the **Ministry of Youth Award at the International Festival of Young Fashion Designers in Dinard (2005).**

His career has also led him to work as **Head of Men’s Design at Christian Louboutin**, where he developed exceptional pieces and exclusive projects.

Since then, he has shaped a world where the rigor of classic design meets the freedom of instinct.

This philosophy finds one of its strongest expressions in footwear. SMO creates a hybrid object, without equivalent: a silhouette where the classic dress shoe and the contemporary sneaker cease to oppose one another and become one.
